You’ll be using and honing your skills to help our customers build their businesses through custom merchandise creation and fulfillment at Threadbird.

What You'll Do:
- Efficiently be able to set up jobs to 16 colors including burning screens and mixing inks to color-match PMS colors, or be able to delegate this task.
- Maintain high-quality print standards throughout the shop.
- Make sure orders are produced on time and to be required customer specifications.
- Examine work orders to determine estimated printing times, inks needed and material quantities.
- Review orders to catch any issues before they get to the production floor.
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Perform routine adjustments to machinery for optimum speed, registry, and print quality.
- Establish Screen Print Production practices and protocols to achieve an efficient output.
- Guide the production team in selecting the correct items needed to accomplish each order (accurate mesh count, under bases, press settings, etc) on schedule.
- Support the team by performing quality checks and approvals as needed throughout the printing process.
- Ensure the team is performing press clean-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the machines.
- Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
- Reporting any personal issues to the supervisor or Manager, but being the eyes and ears of the production floor.
What You'll Need to be Good at:
- Senior Press Operator with at least 5 to 10 years working a press preferably M&R presses.

Experience in all facets of Screen Print
- The preferred team member will be an energetic, organized, and dependable individual with the ability to work efficiently and effectively.

Advanced knowledge of all aspects of screen printing production including setting up/breaking down jobs, burning screens, reclaiming screens, mixing inks, etc.

Maintains a vast working knowledge of ink types and detailed knowledge of color-matching Pantone colors.

Experience working with M&R automatic screen printing presses.

Has established quality-controlled measures in current or previous roles to achieve consistency in the desired outcomes.

What We Need/Physical Requirements:
- Able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours.
- Lift boxes 25 lbs to 50 lbs.

Work in a warehouse environment (not climate-controlled)
